POSITION SUMMARY:
BOT VFX, a post-production services company in the entertainment industry with global clients, is looking for an entry-level position “Jr IT Asset Management Analyst” on a permanent role basis. This role involves working with the IT Team to assist in the management of the lifecycle of IT assets within the company. This role reports to the Desktop Deployment Lead.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY
- Assist in the tracking and reporting of IT assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposal.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records and databases for all IT assets including hardware, software, and network equipment.
- Work closely with procurement and IT departments to forecast asset needs and manage inventory levels.
- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the proper deployment, maintenance, and retirement of IT assets.
- Support the Desktop Deployment Lead in performing audits and inventory checks to ensure all assets are accounted for and properly licensed.
- Assist in developing and implementing procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their life cycles.
- Help in analyzing IT asset usage and lifecycle to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
- Respond to requests from IT staff and other employees regarding asset availability and procurement procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards regarding IT assets.
- Provide administrative support for IT asset procurement and disposal processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT asset management, IT support, or a related field.
- Familiarity with IT asset management software and systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Basic understanding of IT hardware and software components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
